Sea Glass Bootcamp - Learn How to Drill Glass Yourself!

Join us for a class to learn how to safely drill your own sea glass. You can bring pieces you've found yourself, or choose from our collection. At the end of the class, wire is added to your pieces so you can add them to a chain or cord and wear your beautiful treasures. Call us ahead of time so we are ready for your class. This one-on-one class usually lasts about an hour and you can drill up to five pieces of sea glass to take home with you. It's a great class for those interested in making their own jewelry or those who have always wondered how glass is drilled. 

What is sea glass?

Sea glass is the product of the ocean tumbling our trash, litter, and lost bottles and glass into smooth, softened creation. 

Sea glass  can be any color, but some colors are more popular than others. white, clear, green, or brown are the most common colors of sea glass. This is because of all the bottles that make their way to the ocean. It is such a treat to find sea glass in any color. It be can found on any beach, you just have to look hard enough. Often times, it is easier to find sea glass in the winter, when the beach is less populated, but it can be found in any season.
